| HIST | at death- she had 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren Mary Brown Mary Cecile Derrick Brown, 94, widow of Sidney Marvin Brown Sr., died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Williamsburg Regional Hospital in Kingstree. Born March 5, 1918, in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Wiley and Patra Wright Derrick. She was a member of Wise Drive Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Sidney M. Brown Jr. (Angie) of New Zion; her daughter, Patti B. Clemmons (Billy) of Manning; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sumter Cemetery with the Rev. Phares E. "Pec" Chatham III officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, 5592 Fire Tower Road, New Zion, and also at the home of her daughter, 1248 Heritage Drive, Manning. Memorials may be made to a church of one's choice. Stephens Funeral Home & Crematory, 304 N.
