  HIST	of Oswego, South Carolina of Sumter, South Carolina DREYFUS WINTER HUTSON Posted Friday, January 3, 2025 12:05 pm Dreyfus Winter Hutson, 82, husband of Elaine Wilson Hutson, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.   Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late William Krell Hutson and Erline Mathis Hutson. Mr. Hutson attended Sumter First Church of God and retired as a USDA Inspector in 1998.  He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of Sumter; three children, Joey Hutson (Lee), Dana Hutson and Wendy Hutson-Duque (Mo), all of Sumter; six grandchildren, Tiffany Hutson (Jon), Shannon Hutson, Joseph Hutson, Gabriel Hutson, Lindsay Hutson and Christian Duque; two sisters, Marilyn Weathersbee, Shirley Ellison; and two brothers, Willie Hudson and Raymond Hutson. He was preceded in death by eight siblings and one granddaughter.   The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at Sumter First Church of God prior to the service and at their home on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, from noon until 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025, at the Sumter First Church of God with Rev. Ron Bower officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Oswego.    Memorials may be sent to Sumter First Church of God Mission Fund, 1835 Camden Highway, Sumter, SC 29153.
