ELISABETH R. CURRIE
Elisabeth R. Currie, 73, wife of William L. Currie Jr., died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born in Orangeburg, she was a daughter of the late T.O. Reynolds Sr. and the late Daisy Brown Reynolds. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors besides her husband include three sons, Kenneth L. Currie, DVM, and his wife, Carmen, of Bishopville, William Stephen Currie of Lexington, and Martin Clarke Currie of Tifton, Ga.; a brother, Craig A. Reynolds of Cedartown, Ga.; four grandchildren, Ramsey Currie, Jessica Currie, Lacy Currie and Nicholas Currie; and an adopted sister, Louise Butler of Sumter.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise R. Qualliotine; and two brothers, T.O. Reynolds Jr. and Hubert Edens Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Burns officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ramsey Currie, Allan Kolb, Cap Smith, Joe Reynolds, Bobby Hanna and Bill Shuler.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Butler, Dr. Lea B. Givens, David Reynolds, Robert Reynolds and Danny Qualliotine.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home.
