The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Lane of Manning, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Scott Richbourg of Manning, the late George Ellis Lane of Walterboro, and the late Nadine Crosby Lane Beach of Sumter. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of art degree in journalism. She is employed as a buyer by VanJean Womenswear, Columbia. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wilbur Steiner Jr. of Columbia and the late Joan Stock Steiner, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Clifton Chappell and the late Mr. and Mrs. George William Stock, all of Columbia. He attended the University of South Carolina. He is employed by Richard Quinn and Associates and as a real estate broker by Phil Chappell Realty, Columbia. The Rev. Dr. W. Thomas Guerry officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Lin Raymond, organist; and an ensemble from the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Gospel Choir. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a duchess satin, draped column gown featuring a sweetheart neckline. She carried a bouquet of peonies, dahlias, tulips and sweetpea. Carrie Anna Lane served as maid of honor, with Brooke Boykin Wilder as matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Helen Bateman Brunson. Isabelle Huntt Gressette and Taylor Elizabeth Mills served as flower girls. Christopher William Stock served as best man. Jeffrey Lee Stock Jr. served as groomsman. Ushers were Kerry Welborn Brewer, Christopher Michael Harvin, Richard Melvin Quinn Jr. and James Jonathan Zeigler. Carson Palmer Williams served as ring bearer. The bride's parents held the reception at a private beach home in Sullivan's Island. The bridal couple held the rehearsal party at The Creek Club in I'On.
