BRADLEY Ruth Nesbitt Bradley, 90, widow of Burrell John Bradley, died Monday, April 12, 2010, at a local nursing center. Born in Lee County, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Fannie Hill Nesbitt. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was retired from Korn Industries with 30 years of service. Surviving are three sons, Willard "Buddy" Bradley and wife, Rosa Lee, J.B. Bradley and companion, Sharon, and Robert Bradley and wife, Nancy, all of Sumter; a daughter, Betty Ann Browder and husband, Jack, of Sumter; two sisters, Maggie Floyd and Ruby Bradley, both of Sumter; nine grandchildren; a step-grandson; 12 great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters and a granddaughter, Mona Bradley. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Mary Watford and the Rev. William Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Sumter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lin Browder Jr., Mark Browder, Joey Bradley, Lee Bradley, Jay Bradley and Larry Morse. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of her son, Willard "Buddy" Bradley, 2312 Gingko Drive. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 or to National Healthcare Center, 1018 N. Guignard Drive, Sumter, SC 29150.
