He is survived by three daughters, one son and two grandchildren. He was the son of the late John Thompson Green Jr. and Julia Hortense Mullen Green. His wife of 54 years, Betty Carroll Dollard Green, preceded him in death by 44 days. A memorial service is being held today at Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette.
