MRS. RANDAL FLOWERS
Ashleigh Caroline McLeod and Randal Dustin Flowers were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at San Souci Farm, Sumter.
The bride is the daughter of William Richard McLeod Jr. and Ms. Judith Brown McLeod, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Ruth Ann Brown and the late William Heyward Brown, Ms. Lee Allen McLeod, William Richard McLeod Sr. and the late Winnie N. McLeod, all of Sumter. She graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in biological sciences. She is employed by Sup-RX Pharmacy.
The bridegroom is the son of Ms. Phyllis Joyner Flowers and the late Randal B. Flowers, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kelly V. Flowers and the late Frances Rudene Truett, all of Sumter. He graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor of science degree in applied economics and statistics. He is employed by Columbia Farms.
Dr. Dearld B. Sterling officiated at the ceremony.
Music was provided by The Jackson Sisters String Quartet; and Rebecca Lauren McLeod and Carrie Evans Watford, vocalists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Rebecca Lauren McLeod served as maid of honor, with Rachel Wiley Grant as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacie Lynn Radcliffe, Sara Brown Wingate, Syrena Elizabeth Knopf, Traci Flowers Holladay, Meagan Knopf Trezza and Kimberly Myers Nobles. Kinley Logan Holladay served as flower girl.
Jeffrey L. Flowers served as best man. Groomsmen were Patrick Edward Black, Burton McPherson Hatfield III, William Richard McLeod III, Daniel Alexander Barrineau, Thad Anderson Ward and Al Chandler Joyner. Thomas William Johnston served as ring bearer.
Also participating were Jill Murray Braddy, Jenny Lauren Stephens, Sarah Elizabeth Hancock and Wade Christopher Skinner.
The bride's parents held the reception at San Souci Farm.
The bridegroom's mother held the rehearsal party at Swan Lake-Iris Gardens Visitors Center.
Following a wedding trip to Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Lexington. [2] |
