| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina Date Published: January 22, 2009 ROSE M. NEAL Rosa M. Stewart Neal, 79, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Wels, Austria, she was a daughter of the late Franz Sr. and Kreszenzia Schrader Mittermayer. She was married first to the late Dewey Edward Stewart and then to the late Charles Neal. She was a waitress for 20 years at the Holiday Inn on Washington Street and worked for eight years at Campbell Soup Co. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Louise Andrews of Sumter; three grandchildren, James W. "Jay" Andrews Jr. of Sumter, Steven D. Andrews (Kimberly) of Rock Hill and Shelly A. Goodner (Michael) of Rock Hill; three great-grandchildren, James W. "Jamie" Andrews III, Tyler Andrews and Riley Andrews; two sisters, Caroline Pulda (Roger) of Merritt Island, Fla., and Maria Wagner of Salzburg, Austria; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth Edward Andrews; and a son-in-law, James W. Andrews Sr. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Palmetto Chapter, 4124 Clemson Blvd., Suite L, Clemson, SC 29621.
