Name is William Dean Hall but there is some confusion around this. Because his father James William Hall had gone by William for some part of his life (Thus known as "Bill, Uncle Bill or Cousin Bill"), some cousins assumed that William Dean Hall must be William "Junior." Since he is then thought of as Junior, when some people see James William Hall on the charts they assume William Dean must be James William Hall, Jr. and it ended up on some charts this way. Had severe chemical sensitivities late in life.
