ODOM Letha Lucille Floyd Odom, 90, widow of William "Willie" Luther Odom, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at a local nursing center. Born in Florence, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bub Floyd. Mrs. Odom attended Midland Pentecostal Holiness Church and Green Acres Assembly of God Church. Surviving are four sons, Jimmy Odom, Edwin Odom, Heyward Odom and Willie James Odom, all of Sumter; a daughter, Wilhelmenia O. Pack of Sumter; a brother, Thaddeus Floyd of Lake City; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Ann Conyers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Barrineau.
