Coral R. Miller married John F. Kirkland in Montgomery, Alabama, on 17 February, 1897. No known children of record. My mother and Aunt Mary said Coral died of scarlet fever, but no record has been located to this effect, and the date and place of death and burial is not known, nor is it known where Kirkland went after Coral's death. When Aunt Mary died in 1950 I fell heir to her effects, and among them
were Aunt Coral's bible, and a large oval photograph of her, which Hazel tinted. I gave them to Carol. The picture hangs in Carol's apartment today, and shows Aunt Coral to be a beautiful woman.
