Charles E. Land, Jr.
November 9, 1951 - March 25, 2018
MANNING – Charles Edward Land, Jr., 66, husband of Terry Crisp Land, died peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at McLeod Hospice House.
Born November 9, 1951, in Manning, he was a son of the late Charles Edward Land, Sr. and the late Elvy Nesbitt Land. He was a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and he was a member of the National Bird Hunter’s Association. He was the owner and operator of Manning Finance Company for 33 years, which his wife continues to operate.
He is survived by his wife and son, Charles Edward Land III, both of Manning.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Stephens Funeral Home.
Services will be private.
