I have a question - am I am also compiling names for my husband's family tree (via John Marion Lofton - my father in law would have been John Marion Lofton IV, I believe, or the III) - how is the singleton family related to the Lofton Family? I am tracing family via the Lofton side AS WELL AS THE Lucas Side, Charlie's paternal grandmother, and branching out as wide as I can go and as high . I am trying to figure out where the singleton family is connected, if they are indeed. I also found a number of archival type books on Amazon that list all the family names that are descendants of Hugenots, and all of charlie's family are listed, including the Morrisons, the McLellans, Lucases, Loftons... I'm already seeing a lot of missing names. for instance, you have Amy Lofton married to Mackenzie Moore but you have not attached her to anyone. I see a lot of loftons on your list, so I am assuming the connection is LOFTON, not MacKenzie that you are seeking. Amy Lofton is one of four siblings of my husband's grandfather John Marion Lofton. Amy is one of my husband's paternal aunts. One more question for now - are you using this for your own personal information? I am an in-law and am not sure how they feel about names being given out of living relatives.
