A 2003 graduate of Spartanburg High School, the bride graduated from Clemson University in 2007 with a bachelor of science degree in marketing and in 2011 from the Medical University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed with Richland Palmetto Healthcare in Columbia as an oncology nurse. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Michaux White Jr., and the grandson of Mrs. Margaret Newton White and the late Richard Michaux White Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Dallas John Mahoney Jr. and the late Robert Ernest Dunn Sr., all of Sumter. He is a 2002 graduate of Wilson Hall and a 2006 graduate of The Citadel with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He is employed by Hawkins and Kolb Construction Co. in Sumter. The Rev. Jonathan Edward Morris Jr. officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Dr. Brennan Dale Szafron. Ms. Ashleigh Elizabeth Long, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Heather Nicole Blanton, Mrs. Anne Green Taylor Buckner, Ms. Catherine Asher Cayce, sister-in-law of the bride, Ms. Hannah Elizabeth Lowe, Mrs. Rebecca Darr Masters, Ms. Lauren Lesley Poole, Ms. Nancy Nash Reynolds, Dr. Jenny McCallister Riley, Ms. Sarah Jennings Scott and Ms. Mary Ruth Ratteree Tribble.
