The bride is the daughter of Wayne B. Lambert and Paula H. Gardner, and the granddaughter of Dexter and Rosa Hatfield, and the late Wilton and Nada Faye Lambert, all of Sumter. She graduated from Sumter High School. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Margaret Eunice of Elgin, and the grandson of the late Rachel Furtick of St. Matthews. He graduated from Lugoff-Elign High School. He is employed as a free-lance computer programmer in Elgin. The Revs. Randy Spears and Ellison Evans officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Helen Finley, organist; Gayle Johnston, pianist; and Heather Burton, vocalist. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a satin strapless gown adorned with crystals and rocals and featuring an asymmetrical front draped corset, a draped back waist with natural waistline, rhinestone buttons, and an A-line skirt that flowed into a chapel-length train. She carried a white rose bouquet. Whitney Lambert, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, with Brittany Basham as bridesmaid. Ricky Eunice, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsman was Danny Elkins. Ernie Hatfield and Steven Hatfield served as ushers. The reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The bridegroom held the rehearsal party at Ryan’s.
