she died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident I seemed to be very confused by her aunts and uncles- so I have given up- at death- she had the following aunts- Allene Benenhaley of Pinewood, Cindy Santos of Columbia, South Carolina, Susie Driggers of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, and Elizabeth Rutman of Pennsylvania; uncles, Edward Brunson of Sumter, and Jerry Benenhaley and Jimmy Benenhaley, both of Pinewood, South Carolina; 2 nephews, 3 nieces and a number of cousins A Lakewood High School senior was killed early Sunday morning in a head-on collision on Pinewood Road. • Authorities said Caci Allene Brunson, 17, of 4985 Rooster Circle, Pinewood, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 12:45 a.m. crash on Pinewood Road, about 12 miles south of Sumter, near Manchester State Forest. • South Carolina Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Ron Johnson said Brunson, who was wearing a seatbelt, was driving a 1997 Kia south when her vehicle collided with a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer. • The teen had to be extracted from her car, Johnson said. • The Chevy’ driver, 29-year-old Cedric Riley of Pinewood, was taken by a family member to Tuomey Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, authorities said. • Details of the crash were limited Sunday night. • Johnson said the state’s Major Accident Investigation Team is reconstructing the crash to determine its cause. No other information will be available until the team concludes its investigation, he said, which could take 30 to 45 days to complete. • Funeral services for Brunson will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Faith Baptist Church. She was in the FFA, acted as the chapter’s historian, keeping records, taking pictures to add to scrapbooks and writing announcements that were placed in school newsletters.
