  Obituary from The Florence Morning News April 1, 1975. MIDDLETON, R. I. Allard D. Hutchinson, 69, formerly of Scranton, S. C., died Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness. Funeral services and burial will be in Middleton. Mr. Hutchinson was born in Scranton, S. C., a son of the late Edward and Mary Alice Tilton Hutchinson. He had lived in Middletown for the past 30 years where he was an engineer with New Port Electric Corp. until his retirement. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rita Shea Hutchinson of the home; two daughters, Mrs. James (Pam) Ostroky of Rochester, N. Y. and Mrs. Barrie (Mary) Lee of Barrington, R. I.; a son, Paul Hutchinson, a student at the University of R. I.; a half sister, Mrs. Mammie Godwin of Scranton; four half brothers, Purvis Hutchinson of Charleston, S. C., Heyward Hutchinson, Kenneth Hutchinson and Hiram Hutchinson all of Lake City. [2]
