| HIST | I think that this Jean Price is the wife of this John A. Price. jkh Gloria Jean Smith Gloria Jean Price Smith, 67, wife of John A. Smith Jr., died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at her home. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Hilton Lonnie and Vivian Cromer Price. Mrs. Smith was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of Sumter; one daughter, Angela Marie Tidwell and husband, Terry; two sisters, Paula P. Welch and Judy P. Holland and husband, Henry; and two grandchildren, Summer Tidwell and Zachary Tidwell, all of Sumter. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Steven Hendricks officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Bethel Baptist Church and other times at the home.
