Reid "Sonny" Williams Jr. CAYCE - C. Reid (Sonny) Williams, Jr., 73, of Cayce, SC passed away peacefully on Thursday July 12, 2012, at the home of his daughter of Fayetteville, GA. He was surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. Son of Clarence and Pauline Williams, he was born on August 6, 1938 in Salisbury, NC. He was married to Carolyn Holladay of Sumter, SC for over 50 years and was a devoted father. He was a United States Air Force veteran and worked as a self-employed accountant. He was a member of First Baptist Church, West Columbia He is survived by his faithful wife Carolyn; two daughters Denise McWaters (Tony) of Fayetteville, GA and Paula Rivers (Ray) of Richlands, NC; his mother, Pauline, of Orange Park, Florida and his sister Charlotte James of Garden City, SC. Pawpaw is also survived by 10 grandchildren who loved him dearly; Hollie, David, Ross, John and Matthew McWaters; Anna, Reid, Rachel, Joshua and Andrew Rivers. Sonny is predeceased in death by his father and one grandson. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 2-4 P.M. at Woodridge Funeral Home 138 Corley Mill Road Lexington with a graveside service on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11 A.M. in Woodridge Memorial Park with Dr. Lonnie Shull officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648-9989. Arrangements have been entrusted to Woodridge Funeral Home Lexington.
