Julius Lemuel Parrott LAKE CITY - Julius Lemuel Parrott, 59, lovingly known as 'Nuckey Boy" and husband of the late Lynn Poston Parrott, died Tuesday August 27, 2013 after an illness. Mr. Parrott was born December 1, 1953 in Florence County, SC to Martha Barfield Benton and the late Alex Leonard "A.L." Parrott. He was a member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy in Lake City, SC. Julius was an employee of ABB in Florence for over 33 years and considered his co-workers as family. He was a special man who loved the Lord and was loved by many. He was a loving father and grandfather, who will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Poston Parrott; father, A.L. Parrott; step-father, R.B. Benton and a sister, Lorena Ard. Survivors include a daughter, Julie (Dwayne) McCutcheon of Lake City, SC; granddaughter, Sadie McCutcheon; four sisters, Thelma (Clinton) Miles, Peggy (Ray) Lee, Betty Scurry all of Lake City, SC and Marie (John) Gaymon of Scranton, SC and many special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Brockington Funeral Home in Lake City, SC. A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday August 29, 2013 at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy. Burial will follow at Strickland-Feagin Cemetery.
