Born on May 6, 1958, in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late Harvey Walter Achziger Sr. and Mary Lou McLean Achziger. She worked several years as a flight attendant with United Airlines, before returning home to Sumter. Survivors include her brother, Harvey W. Achziger Jr. (Tammy) of Sumter; one niece, McLean Achziger; and her special friends, Paul and Lisa Krouse. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Dan Barber. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. The family would like to express their appreciation to Eloise Harvin and other caregivers for the care they provided.
