LOWDER Jr. ALCOLU - Edward Carl Lowder Jr., 75, died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at the Dorn Veterans Hospital in Columbia. Mr. Lowder was born Jan. 30, 1935, the son of the late Edward Carl Lowder Sr. and the late Emma Ruth Elmore Lowder. He was married to the late Margaret Evans of Lake City. He is survived by a son, Duane (Julie) Lowder; a daughter, Karen (Scott) Murray; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren, all of Florida; and one aunt, Vance Elmore Hudson of Six Mile. He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Lowder. A burial will be held at a later date at Trinity United Methodist Church, Alcolu.
