The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Leroy Merck of Sumter, the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Moll of Hubert, North Carolina, and the late Mr. Ronald Leroy Cline of New York. He graduated from Central Carolina Technical College with an associate of science degree in graphic engineering and from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery Hansford Faw of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Phyllis Faw and the late Jethro Hansford Faw and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Harrison Hensley, all of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
