The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Jerry Kinney of Sumter, and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Cleveland Kinney and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Francis Mullikin. She graduated from Wilson Hall and Clemson University. She is employed as a teacher at Wilson Hall. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Edward McMillan Jr. of Sumter, and the grandson of Mrs. Agnes Edge Stavrou of Sumter, Mrs. Marvin Edward McMillan of Easley, the late Mrs. Gwenelle Johnson McMillan, the late Mr. Marvin Edward McMillan and the late Mr. William Dowie Stavrou. He graduated from Wilson Hall, Wofford College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is employed by the South Carolina Judicial Department as a law clerk for Circuit Court Judge George C. James Jr. The Rev. Dr. A. Stephen Holler of Trinity officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Mr. Sam Dennis, soloist; Mrs. Beth Lewallen, organist; and Dr. Tony Roebuck, trumpeter. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a designer strapless gown covered in rich lace appliqu and English net featuring a deep V-back, a beaded crystal waistband and a chapel-length train with a pencil-edge cathedral veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas accented with white O'hara roses and Sweet Avalanche roses pinned with her late grandmother's cross. Anna Crew Kinney served as maid of honor, with Cortney Kinney Seeby as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Staggs Hodges, Lanie Ann Hudson, Ashlety Stover Kinney, Caroline Steindorf Kinney, Taylor Marie Munn, Kendell Frances Nethery, Ann Bynum Noblitt, Katherine Tribble Schwartz and Kara Elizabeth Tallman. Lillian Crew Seeby served as a flower girl with Anna Walker Creekmore and Elizabeth Franklin Seeby serving as junior bridesmaids. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were David Matthew Busch, Caleb Freer DuBose, Edwin Thompson Kinney, William Charles Kinney, Edward Brode McMillan, Matthew Stavrou McMillan, James Howard Poston, Samuel Lucas Reuwer, Preston Reid Schwartz and Thomas McConnell White. Junior groomsman was Curtis Braxton Seeby. William Charles Kinney Jr. served as ring bearer.
