Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at New Zion United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie King Floyd and Cordie Porter Floyd. She was a member of New Zion United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Betty Jean Floyd. Surviving are her husband, Ivey Baird of Turbeville; five children, Ivey (Teri) Baird of Summerville, Ruffin (Sandy) Baird of New Zion, Denise (John) Thomas of Goose Creek, Shawn (Lana) Baird and Jason (Deanna) Baird, both of Turbeville; siblings, Laura Kirby of Sumter, Novice Floyd of Hartsville, J.C. (Sandra) Floyd of Manning, Murray (Sharon) Floyd of Turbeville and Rudy Floyd of New Zion; grandchildren, Savannah Baird, Lindsey Baird, Maggie Baird, Stephen Ardis, Garret Ardis, Noah Thomas, Peyton Thomas, Gabe Baird, Rivers, Baird, Remington Baird and Tyler Baird.
