The family will receive friends at the church from 2 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mrs. Turbeville died Saturday, July 7, 2012. Born in Orangeburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Henrietta Davis Jackson. She was a member of Kilbourne Park Baptist Church. As a devoted minister's wife, she served with her husband, the late Rev. George E. Turbeville, at many churches throughout the state, including Bayview Baptist, Rosewood Baptist, Kilbourne Park Baptist and Tabernacle Baptist in Union. Surviving are her son, Bobby Turbeville (Kelly) of Columbia; grandchildren, Tracy Glenn (John) of Simpsonville, Melanie Smith (Brad) of Rock Hill, James Turbeville of Blythewood, Davis Turbeville of Columbia; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Shealy (David) of Chapin. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Ann and son, George Jr. "Buddy".
