The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Allen Burnette of Greer, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Inez Burnette and the late Alvin Burnette of Greenville, and Paul McCarter and the late Evelyn McCarter of Greer. She graduated in 2005 from J.L. Mann High School in Greenville and 2009 from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of arts in early childhood education. She is employed as a kindergarten teacher at Satchel Ford Elementary School in Columbia. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Joseph Evenich Sr. of Sumter, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lewis of Florence, and the late Ernest McGee Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Evenich and the late Shirley Evenich, all of Sumter. He graduated in 2005 from Wilson Hall and 2009 from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of arts in economics. He is employed as territory manager at Dealer Services Inc. The Rev. Bryan Pumphrey officiated at the ceremony. Music was provided by Jay Hershey. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a couture gown designed by Callie Tein from Modern Trousseau of Charleston and carried a round bouquet of greens and whites using white hydrangea, ranunculus, lisianthus, garden roses and a few bits of greenery intertwined and wrapped with burlap and pinned with her grandmother's broach. Sierra Burnette, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Christy Burnette, sister-in-law of the bride, Ashley Crisp, Taylor Baldree and Michelle Cooper. Kaeli and Aubree Eskew, cousins of the bride, served as flower girls. The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen were Shane Burnette, brother of the bride, Mathew Dick and Justin Hardee. The reception was given by the bride's parents at Palmetto Hall at Wild Dunes Resort. The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom's parents at Boardwalk Inn at Wild Dunes Resort.
