Yarbrough, died on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, at McLeod Health Clarendon Hospital in Manning. Born on Nov. 2, 1940, in Orangeburg, she was a daughter of the late Larry Lee Edgemon and Allien Murphy Edgemon. Mrs. Yarbrough was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She retired from Exide after 36 years of service. She was an avid fan of John Wayne and dearly loved her Macaw Parrots, Willie and Tammy. Survivors include a son, Lynn W. Yarbrough of Sumter; a daughter, Patricia Charlene Brady (Ken) of Sumter; two granddaughters, April Arrington (Bradley) and Jessica Yarbrough; four great-grandchildren, Dustin, KK, Nathan and Elizabeth; one brother, James Edgemon (Betty Ann) of Orangeburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Lee Edgemon Jr.; and a granddaughter, Renee Arrington. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Wayne McElveen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home. Attendees are asked to observe recommended COVID-19 guidelines.
