- William Henry Linam is buried in the small Linam Cemetery at the old Linam home place north of Pine Apple Alabama. My husband Ray Linam remembers his father taking him to the old home place when he was a boy on the 1940's. Also buried in that cemetery are: Martha E. Linam Born October 19, 1821, died August 7, 1847; William Henry Linam Born 1858 Died 1859; Henry E. Linam Born 1848 Died 1849. Do not know if Martha could have been a wife of William Henry. She could have been the mother of the two boys listed in the 1850 census, he has no wife listed in that census. I have his two children listed under Eva Blackman The graves are surrounded by an ornate iron fence with the gate engraved with the name Linam (note spelling). Barsheba Cain Linam also listed in the 1850 census as living with William Henry her age is listed as 73 from North Carolina.
