Services will be private. He was the son of the late Reverend deSaussure Parker Moore, Sr. and Cornelia TrezevantMoore. Dr. Moore was educated in the public schools of Weldon NC, The University of NC and received his MD from Duke University School of Medicine in 1952. He was one of the founders of Hopewell Medical Center and Colonial Heights Medical Center in VA where he practiced medicine from 1955 to 1990. He is predeceased by his sister, Dr. Aimee N. Moore and brother, Sewell T. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Doris S. Moore of Chapin, SC; sons, Camm T. (Stephanie) Mooreof Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Dr. Des P. (Marsha) Moore, III of Hopewell, VA and a grandson, Leslie Parker Moore. Memorial donations may be directed to the Patrick Henry Boys & Girls Plantation, Inc. 860 Red Hill Rd. Brookneal, VA 24592.
