- "George Rossittier married Eliza Ann Blankenship, he was from Massachusetts, in Wilcox County. He bought land in Sec. 20 T., R. 11 from the government in 1835 which adjoined land purchased by George W. ; when he left Wilcox County and moved to Louisiana, he sold the land to George W. His daughter, Amanda Jane married Henry B. Watters, on April 7, 1859 in Lousia na. This marriage is the connection between the Blankenship family with the Watters family" The Ptomey Family of Alabama, and Watters and Related Families.
