A funeral was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Donald Hancock. Born in Florence County, Mrs. Hancock was a daughter of the late William Pressley and Sadie Eloise Cusaac Langston. She was a legal secretary for Judge Wylie Caldwell and a member of the Bethany Free Will Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, church secretary and church treasurer. Surviving are a son, Raymond Benoit Hancock of Moncks Corner; and a grandchild, Alex (Angie) Hancock of Timmonsville. [2] | |
