Born on Dec. 14, 1963, in Hartsville, he was a son of Mitchell Erwin Richburg Sr. and Betty Lou Brock Richburg. He was a U.S. Army veteran, and he was employed with Federal Mogul for 27 years and Becton Dickinson for eight years. He was a member of Alice Drive Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 30 years of Sumter; his parents of Davis Station; two daughters, Morgan Will (Kevin) and Leanna Richburg, both of Sumter; a granddaughter, Emma Rose Will; two brothers, Brock Richburg (Sirgley) of Manning and Allan Richburg (Tracey) of Davis Station; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with the Revs. John Watts, Todd Fleming, Jim Fleming and Jock Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shand Broadway, Kevin Ross, Chris Lee, Tim Oliver, John Geddings, Jimmy Ridgeway, Ronnie Frazier and Bobby Fleming. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the fellowship hall of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and other times at the residence, 3290 Green View Parkway, Sumter.
