Born on May 12, 1955, in the Philippines, she was a daughter of Thomas Edison Winstead Sr. and Lucille Coleman Winstead. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 45 years; her parents of Sumter; two children, Renee Oliver of Sumter and Jamie Oliver (Stacy) of St. Simons Island, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Ryan Rickman, Griffin West, Kennedy West, Elizabeth Oliver, Jay Oliver, Blake Oliver and Sophia Oliver; two brothers, Richard "Bill" Winstead (Debbie) of Maryland and Tommy Winstead of North Carolina; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Emogene Oliver. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Shumake officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Oliver Sr. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 219 W.
