Mrs. Kirby was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a former office manager at McDuffie Furniture Co. Surviving are two daughters, Sheree Kirby Infinger (Joey) of Alcolu and Connie Kirby of Sumter; six grandchildren, Tracie Mitchell, Mike Kirby, Micah Cox, Dylan Kirby, Tara Edmonds and Chip Infinger; and three great-grandchildren, Caydence Mitchell, Coral Infinger and Collins Infinger. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael H. Kirby; and two brothers, Robert S. Dority and James H. Dority. Private graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Holley and the Rev. Tommy Atkinson officiating.
