Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Washtien and Rose Lander Washtien. Mrs. Mota was a member of Wedgefield Presbyterian Church and a retired administrative assistant. Surviving are her husband of Sumter; three sons, Daniel A. Mota (Jennie) of Sumter, Michael Mota of San Diego, California, and Joseph Mota (Judy) of Denver, Colorado; a sister, Sharon Franco (Joe); a brother, Laurence Washtien (Wendy); eight grandchildren, Nicholas Mota (Sarah), Brayden Mota (Carlee), Lindsay Mota, Allysa Mota, Courtney Ward (Jake), Michael Mota (Courtnie), Cooper Mota and Majid Corbett. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the family is requesting no visitors at this time. Memorials may be made to Wedgefield Presbyterian Church, P.O.
