She graduated from Wilson Hall in 2014 and from the College of Charleston in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. She is employed by Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital in Sumter as the athletic trainer for Wilson Hall. The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Perkins of Sumter, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Clepper of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and Ms. Beverly Rife of Newville, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Sumter High School in 2011, from Limestone College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and in 2019 from Florida Institute of Technology with a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dwayne Chase and Mr. and Mrs. John Jacob Zilch, all of Sumter, and the granddaughter of Mr. Ronald T. Peyton of Albany, Georgia, the late Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nesbitt of Sumter and the late Betty Banks Peyton of Greenwood. She graduated from Wilson Hall in 2014 and from College of Charleston in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She is employed by Prisma Health Tuomey as the athletic trainer for Wilson Hall. Her chapel-length veil was adorned with handsewn lace. Abigail Zilch, sister of the bride, and Rachel Thomas served as maids of honor. Kaci Dinkins, Mary Copeland Heath, Logan Lee Ingram, Cameron Richardson, Emily Hendrix Robinson and Sara Jane Steckman served as bridesmaids. Avery Floyd served as flower girl. John Michael Schaffer served as best man. Wilson Hall volleyball named Academic All-Americans again The Wilson Hall volleyball team was named an Academic All-American team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association for the seventh straight year. Posted Thursday, July 21, 2022 6:00 am For the seventh straight year, the Wilson Hall volleyball team has been recognized for their success off the court. The Lady Barons were named an Academic All-American team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. This season was one of the best academic performances for the volleyball program at Wilson Hall. As a team, the Lady Barons had a GPA of 4.67. Members took a total of 38 AP courses, 18 honors courses and 85 of the team's 113 combined courses saw members receive and A. The team included seniors Kate Eichburg, Mary Jones, Annie Lauzon, Lucy Matthews and Mary Ellis Waynick. The juniors were Campbell Bauman, Emma Bradley, Madison Crawshaw, Ashlyn Elmore, Sophie Greene and Sarah Sonntag. The sophomores were Rylee Bath, Sullivan Jarecki, Maggie Norris and Aubrey Payne.
