| HIST | DIANE K. BERNSTEIN Posted Tuesday, February 14, 2023 6:00 am Diane K. Bernstein, age 74, died on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at her home. Ms. Bernstein was born in Troup County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Ed and Mary Patterson Bartlett. She was a former member of the Church of God in Rome, Georgia. Diane will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors are three sons, David Carlson and his wife, Debbie, of Nashville, Tennessee, Allen Rex Hatch and his wife, Ginger, of Nashville and Michael Ray Hatch and his wife, Angela, of Baltimore, Maryland; one daughter, Tammy Elizabeth Johnson and her husband, Jeffrey Stout, of Sumter; one cousin, Joyce D. Bobo of Rome; 10 grandchildren, Chris, Tonya, Joshua (my baby), Branden, Kristen, Jason, Brian, Jordan, Eric and Desere; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Bartlett; and her husband of 22 years, Curtis I. Bernstein. An entombment service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum with Allen Rex Hatch officiating.
