| HIST | ANDREE MADELINE BESSETTE Posted Wednesday, April 19, 2023 6:00 am Andree "Dede" Madeline Bessette, 92, widow of Richard Frances Bessette, died Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her home in Florida. Born March 9, 1931, in Nancy, France, she was the daughter of the late Andre Richard and Louise Richard. She was a member of St. Anne/St. Jude Catholic Church in Sumter. Survivors include two sons, Richard Bessette (Gay) of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Frank Bessette (Antoinette) of Panama City, Florida; eight grandchildren, Matthew, Dean, Joshua, Samantha, Tylor, Hunter, Stephanie and Christopher; two great-grandchildren, Ariella and Elijah; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Odette Richard. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Fr. Ronie Lorcha, CRM. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements. [1] | |
