PAUL K. OXENDINE
Paul Kennedy "P.K." Oxendine, 64, husband of Delila Price Oxendine, died Thursday, May 28, 2009, at McLeod Hospice House in Florence.
Born in Dalzell, he was a son of the late Andrew Oxendine and the late Martha Benenhaley Oxendine. Mr. Oxendine was a member of Longbranch Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Glasscock Trucking for 36 years.
Survivors include his wife of Bennettsville; a son, Michael Jordan Oxendine of England; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Rudolph Oxendine of Sumter; three sisters, Elaine Miller of Sumter, Portia Langley of Manning and Ellen Cooper of Mississippi; two stepsons, Duane Churchill of Sumter and Michael Churchill of Erie, Penn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Oxendine.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Longbranch Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn Gardner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the home of his sister, Elaine Miller, 30 Warwick Court, Sumter.
