Born Aug. 21, 1952, in Sumter, she was the daughter of the late Olin Robinson and Mozelle Mathis Robinson. She was an active member of Bethel Methodist Oswego, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and in a number of other ministries. She worked many years as a draftsman with Southeastern Casework. She also worked with Central Carolina Technical College and retired from Sumter Housing Authority. Survivors in addition to her husband of 55 years include three daughters, Glenda Mueller (Bernhard) of Orangeburg, Salena Ardis (Todd) and Jill Connor, both of Sumter; three grandchildren, Anna Mueller, Emily Mueller and Evan Davenport (Brooke); two step-grandsons, Brandon Ardis (Kara) and Taylor Ardis (Olivia); three great-grandchildren, Ansley, Talan and Lyla Pearl; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Robinson and Mack Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Bethel Methodist Oswego with the Rev. Tim Whited officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be members of Oswego Hunting Club. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethel Methodist Oswego and other times at the home. Such a lovely countenance adorned with blonde hair of gold. With those creative blue eyes, she created masterpiece drawings untold. Like an architect scholar, she patiently sketched out her dreams. Forever compassionate, her laughter was as warm hues of sunshine beams. A love for music and family, enjoyed gathering around those piano keys. A spirit filled warrior, praying for all as a Godly woman on her knees. Clinging always to the faith she loved so dear, This Proverbs 31 woman passionately kept Jesus very near. Now, she's left us too soon and our heart cries a tear. But I can see her smiling as she says, "I'm finally home, please have no fear." Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] | |
