| HIST | BRENDA L. KOLB Brenda Lucille Kolb, 50, died Monday, Nov. 8, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Sumter, she was a daughter of the late William Calvin Sr. and Frances Margaret Eargle Kolb. Ms. Kolb was a devoted caregiver to her parents and loved taking care of others. She was the "babysitter" for the family and other families in the community as well. She also worked in the nurseries of several local churches. Her love of people, especially children, was evident throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include two brothers, William C. "Billy" Kolb Jr. (Jane) of Lake Wylie and Robert J. "Bobby" Kolb (Dianne) of Sumter; one sister, Beverly Frances Choat (Glenn) of Sumter; a special friend, Pam Wilder of Sumter; a special neice, Olivia Choat; and a number of other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harmony Church with the Rev. Drew Choate and the Rev. Lee Brown officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be nephews, Robert J. "Robbie" Kolb Jr., Jason Tedder, Jamie Tedder, Andrew Herbert and Charlie Kolb; and Rogerson Durant. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Harmony Church and other times at the home. The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to Dr. Billy Clowney and the Oncology staff of Tuomey Healthcare System. Your love, support, and caring is greatly appreciated.
