| HIST | SIMPLICIA M. BRANHAM Posted Sunday, October 7, 2018 6:00 am Simplicia "Pat" Mesa Branham, 73, wife of Roy Branham, died on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at her home. Born on Sept. 19, 1945, in Mongmong, Guam, she was a daughter of the late Vincente and Engracia San Nicholas Mesa. Survivors include her husband of 49 years; two children, Victor Branham (Elizabeth) and Patricia Scott (Robert), both of Sumter; four grandchildren, Taylor Crawford (Allan), Cameron Branham, Hannah Kate Branham and Sarah Grace Scott; and two great-grandchildren, Camden Lee Crawford and Paisley Kate Crawford. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Phillips officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, 2510 Old Camden Highway. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Amedysis Hospice for the special care they provided.
