Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Frank Moore Segars and Georgia Bradford Segars. Mrs. Cornwall was retired from Civil Service. Surviving are three sons, Frankie Griffin (Kaye) of Cayce, Gary Griffin (Ann) of Sumter and Todd Griffin (Shelley) of Charleston; a sister, Edie Newman (Jimmy) of Sumter; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Segars. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the home of her son, Gary Griffin, 640 Godwin St. Online condolences may be made at www.sumterfunerals.com.
