| HIST | at death- he had an additional grandson- Zane Marcoux, of Tennessee- who are his parents? jkh Robert Earl Marcoux Sr. PINEWOOD - Robert Earl Marcoux Sr., 81, widower of Lillian R. Marcoux and Jewel Janette Burke Marcoux, died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at his home. Born in Lebanon, N.H., he was a son of the late Oliva Marcoux and Marie-Blanche LaRouche Marcoux Cooper. Mr. Marcoux served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Air Force after 22 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II and the Vietnam War as well as an avid outdoorsman and wildlife advocate. Survivors include four children, Sharon Marie Spaulding of Hanover, Ind., John Michael Marcoux of Atlanta, Ga., Robert Earl Marcoux Jr. of Columbia, and Michele Teresa Marcoux and her spouse, Ronald Breeden, of Oak Ridge, Tenn.; a special family friend, Dean Bjorken of Atlanta; and five grandchildren, Katherine Spaulding and Michael Spaulding, both of Indiana, and Melanie Williams, Lynn Williams and Zane Marcoux, all of Tennessee. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Elmore-Cannon Stephens Funeral Home. Mr. Marcoux's family would like to acknowledge Tuomey Hospice Services for the exceptional quality of care and compassion their father received during this difficult time. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
