| HIST | Comments: Alma Hodge, wife of Lamar Marley Pack, was the sister of my great-grandmother. Your site lists Lila Dean as their mother. We know that her name was Lila Gertrude but have no references yet on "Dean" as her surname (my grandmother said it was "Tatum")except circumstantial (there was a Lila Dean the right age 1870 census in the same county where my Lila and James Hodge lived 1880 census). I do have proof, however, that their father was James Elihute Hodge (or Elihute James Hodge). You can find my sources on Rootsweb.com WorldConnect trees, database --- ogm. If you have a source for Lila being a Miss Dean, I'd really like to see it since this is one of my brick walls. Thank you. Norton, your site popped up again. Annie Rebecca Hodge is another sibling of Alma and James (children of James Elihute/Elihute James Hodge and Lila G. Dean or Tatum). I noticed that the source on Annie's information was #S2839; Meldra N. Geddings. Is she the same as Meldra LaNelle Norton/Mrs. Horton M. Geddings? If so she would be Annie's daughter. I have Annie's daughter Meldra born in 1928/1929 (age on 1930 census). Do you know if she is still alive and doing genealogy? If so, do you have a way of contacting her to give her my email address, address or phone. Again, if so, then I could send you such.
