  HIST	2121 Kingsbury Road WAYNE JENNINGS Frank Wayne "Stumpman" Jennings, 58, husband of Christina Rodgers Jennings, died Thursday, July 8, 2010, at his home. Born in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Louie Edward Jennings and Edna McLeod Jennings. Mr. Jennings was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was also a member of the Knights of the Round Table and was formerly employed by Stewart Recycling Co. He coached and played softball for his church and the City League. He enjoyed barbecue cookoffs and was an avid golfer. He was stock car racer No. 64 "Stumpman" and won many championships at Sumter Speedway. Surviving are his wife of Sumter; two brothers, Larry (Carol) Jennings and Raymond (Rosie) Jennings of Sumter; two sisters, Betty Jean Griffin of Sumter and Annette (Clinton) Altman of Cades; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Providence Baptist Church with Brother Raymond Jennings and the Rev. Dr. Harold Greene officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennie Somheil, Chris Alderman, James Hawthorne, Ray Allsbrook, Matt Brown and Raymond Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Stewart Recycling Co., members of the Knights of the Round Table, Jerry Buckner, Charles "BoPete" Medlin, John Fulton and Melvin "Pop" Holloman. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2121 Kingsbury Road. The family would appreciate and encourage others to consider organ donations to the heart and kidney foundations to help improve the quality of life for others. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 520 Gervais St., Suite 300, Columbia, SC 29201 or to the National Kidney Foundation of S.C., 500 Taylor St., Suite 101, Columbia, SC 29201.
