| HIST | of Sumter, South Carolina of Alcolu, South Carolina MAGGIE N. FLOYD Maggie Nesbitt Floyd, 92, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center. Born in Lee County, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Fannie Hill Nesbitt. Mrs. Floyd was a member of New Testament Light House Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are a daughter, Maggie Prescott and husband, Bill, of Alcolu; a sister, Ruby Bradley of Sumter; eight grandchildren, Bubba (Dollee) Prescott, Cordie Brown, Donnie (Ann) Brown, Billie (Jimmy) Tidwell, Erline (Jay) Gainey, Judy (Harry) Haselden, Brenda Boykin and Carol Sue Brown; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and four great-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of the Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Mary Watford and the Rev. Nathaniel Brown officiating. Burial will be in Wells Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home and other times at the home of Judy Haselden, 5234 Christine Drive.
