| HIST | HILDA G. WINDHAM Hilda Gregersen Windham, widow of Gordon Wayne Windham Sr., died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Chardon Place on John's Island. Born in Wilmington, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Wilhelm Hans and Nora Holt Gregersen. Mrs. Windham was a member of First Baptist Church of John's Island and was a retired bookkeeper with JC Penney & Co. in Columbia. Surviving are a son, G. Wayne Windham and wife, Dorothy, of John's Island; and two grandchildren, Hunter Holt Windham and Courtney Elizabeth Windham. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Rob Spainhour officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
