Born on Dec. 15, 1934, in Lee County, he was a son of the late Raleigh "Goody" and Daisy Croft Bramlette. He was a member of Northside Memorial Baptist Church. He retired from Santee Print Works and drove a wrecker for Boyle Motor Co. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Bramlette Eaddy (Rodney) of Pioneer, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Michelle Norman (Dusty) and Kayla Goodman (Jamie); five great-grandchildren, Kody Norman, Kaitlynn Whiteaker, Chloe Whiteaker, Karlie Norman and Kaylee Goodman; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Daynie Tiffany of Camden; a brother, Roger Bramlette of Lugoff; former wife, Betty B. Bramlette; and a special friend, Karen Lightsey. He was preceded in death by siblings, Ronnie Bramlette, Jean Carr, Ernest "Carthy" Bramlette, Willie Bramlette and Raleigh "Bob" Bramlette. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Holley officiated. Burial was at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorials may be made to Northside Memorial Baptist Church, 1004 N. Main St., Sumter, SC 29153.
